Digital framework design — full-arch implant bridge frameworks and RPD cast frameworks designed in exocad & 3Shape, passive-fit prioritised and mill/cast ready. Returned within 12–24 hours.

Description

Framework Design Service

Product brief. Framework Design covers the two framework families labs struggle to staff for: full-arch implant bridge frameworks (titanium, zirconia or PEEK) and RPD cast frameworks. Your lab sends the scans and the master plan; our designers return a mill- or cast-ready framework with passive fit prioritised and connector geometry calculated for the material — within 12–24 hours.

A framework forgives nothing. In a full-arch case, an ill-fitting framework means sectioning, splinting and chair time; in an RPD, it means clasp adjustment appointments that never end. Our designers work to the tolerances your fabrication method demands — relief and block-out set for the casting ring or the mill, connector cross-sections calculated from span and material, and retention, support and bracing placed the way a prosthodontist would specify them.

What is included in every case

  • Full-arch implant bridge frameworks — titanium, zirconia or PEEK, screw-retained over multi-unit abutments or Ti-bases
  • RPD cast frameworks — major and minor connectors, rests, clasps and guidance planes designed to the survey line
  • Connector engineering — cross-sections sized to span, material and position; documented for your alloy or blank
  • Block-out & relief — undercuts, guide planes and relief set for casting or milling tolerance
  • Verification aids — sectioned verification jig files (print-ready) so you can confirm passive fit before the final layer
  • Bar compatibility — frameworks designed to interface cleanly with bar attachments and existing bar designs

Framework Design 2-1

Designed for your fabrication workflow

We output open STL/EXO/3Shape files that drop straight into your CAM or casting workflow. Tell us the material system once — milled titanium, zirconia, PEEK, or chrome-cobalt casting — and we store the parameters against your account: relief values, connector minimums, expansion allowances. Every future framework arrives pre-configured for your line.

  • Compatible with exocad (DentalCAD) and 3Shape Dental System cases
  • Export formats: STL, EXO, 3SDX/DEXIS, plus PDF case documentation
  • Print-ready verification jig files included with full-arch frameworks

What we need from you

  • Full-arch implant framework: verified implant positions (open-tray level scan), bite, and the tooth setup or approved try-in scan
  • RPD framework: master cast scan with survey and path of insertion noted, plus the design preferences (clasp type, connector style)
  • Material choice — or simply your lab’s standing settings on file

Turnaround

Standard framework design is returned within 12–24 hours of case receipt. Full-arch frameworks with try-in stages are scheduled against your delivery calendar. Urgent case? Send it through with your deadline and we will confirm the schedule before starting.

Why labs outsource framework design to Odontalab

  • Framework specialists — connector geometry and survey-line discipline, not adapted crown files
  • Free unlimited minor revisions until the design is approved
  • Verification jigs included — confirm passive fit before investing material
  • One design partner for frameworks, crowns, abutments and dentures — fewer vendors to manage
Which materials can you design frameworks for?
Milled titanium, zirconia, PEEK for implant frameworks, and chrome-cobalt or other casting alloys for RPD frameworks. Relief, connectors and allowances are set per material.
Do you include verification jigs?
Yes — full-arch implant frameworks come with a sectioned, print-ready verification jig so you can confirm passive fit on the model or in the mouth before the final framework is produced.
Can you design RPD frameworks from a scanned cast?
Yes. Scan the master cast with the survey referenced, note the path of insertion and clasp/connector preferences, and we design the complete framework to the survey line.
How fast can a case be returned?
Standard turnaround is 12–24 hours from receipt of complete records. Mark urgent cases in your submission and we will confirm the schedule before starting.
How do we send a case?
Upload scans and records through our Send a Case form. You receive design delivery and revision tracking by email — no plugins or software to install.

Have a framework case to outsource?

Send the scans and your material choice — we will confirm the design path and delivery time within one working day.
