OdontaLab exists for one reason: most dental laboratories do not need another full-time designer — they need dependable design capacity that scales with their workload. We are that capacity.

Our story
OdontaLab was founded in Shenzhen, China — a city with one of the largest dental manufacturing ecosystems in the world. Working alongside laboratories and production centers, we kept seeing the same problem: labs were losing evenings and weekends to CAD backlogs, hiring designers they could not always keep busy, or turning away complex cases because no one had the hours to design them.
So we built the studio we would want to send our own cases to: a small, specialised team that works in exocad and 3Shape all day, every day, and treats every case as if it will be seated in a patient's mouth tomorrow — because it often is.

Who we are

We are a digital dental design studio, not a general outsourcing shop. Our designers work exclusively on laboratory production cases — crowns, bridges, implant restorations, removable appliances and orthodontic planning — using the same exocad and 3Shape software your team knows. Every file we deliver is tuned for real milling and printing: verified margins, correct cement gaps, passivity on frameworks, and clean, production-ready outputs.
Every case is checked by a senior designer before it reaches your download queue. If something is unclear in your prescription, we ask — we would rather send one message than rework one case.
