Description
Splint Design Service
Product brief. Splint Design covers occlusal appliances: bruxism guards, full-coverage stabilization splints and anterior repositioning devices — designed in exocad & 3Shape for your printer or mill, with the occlusal scheme set to the therapy the dentist prescribes. Delivered within 12–24 hours.
A splint is a therapeutic instrument, not a generic mouthguard. Flat-plane, canine-guided or anterior-deprogrammed — each scheme changes the occlusal anatomy, the material choice and the thickness budget. Our designers build to the prescription: contacts placed where the therapy intends, interferences excluded, and the strength-to-thickness balance matched to the material your lab fabricates in.
What is included in every case
- Bruxism guards / night guards — full-coverage upper or lower, flat-plane or canine-guided
- Stabilization splints — full-occlusal coverage with even, simultaneous contacts
- Anterior repositioning splints — built to the recorded therapeutic position
- Thickness planning — matched to material (hard acrylic, clear thermoplastic, hybrid) and grinder severity
- Retention and extension control — per arch, with undercuts respected for easy seating
- Print or mill ready — insertion direction and supports set for your equipment
What we need from you
- Upper and lower scans with bite registration (therapeutic position for repositioning splints)
- The dentist’s prescription: splint type, arch, occlusal scheme, thickness if specified
- Material and fabrication method (printer/resin or mill/blank)
